André Marques

I design, build, and teach.

I've done design and engineering for agencies and startups, and on my own.

These days I build with AI agents and teach my students to do the same. The work has changed: directing agents, reviewing output, and keeping up with how fast it all moves.

I'm currently mostly curious about how people and agents work together, real-time user interfaces, and ideas in art and business that weren't previously possible.

teaching

I'm an Adjunct Associate Professor of Computer Science at The University of Chicago. My courses focus on learning through making: giving students practical experience designing and building software with agents.
